Aims & Scope
Manuscripts submitted for publication should contain results of original research, embrace sound principles of scientific investigation, and present data in a clear and concise manner. The Bulletin includes articles in any field of science including natural history articles from the Eastern Pacific and New World. It also emphasizes the southern California area. The Bulletin is published annually in April, August and December. We also publish a monograph series called *Memoirs*. Manuscripts suitable for the journal are feature articles and research notes. A feature article comprises five to thirty double spaced pages and is divided into the following sections: abstract (not to exceed 100 words), introduction, methods, results, discussion and conclusions, acknowledgments, literature cited, tables, figure legend page, and figures. A research note is usually one to six pages and rarely utilizes subheadings. For monographs, please contact the editors directly.
