Abstract

Data on the relative abundance, seasonal timing, and size at entry into freshwater of upstream migrants were collected on a population of Pacific lamprey inhabiting the Santa Clara River. In addition, spent lamprey were also collected and provided information on the length, decrease in body length between entry into freshwater and spawning the following year, and the potential timing of spawning.
