Abstract
A histological examination was performed on gonads of Phrynosoma coronatum from the Cape Region of Baja California Sur, Mexico for the purpose of comparing reproduction in P. coronatum with species of Phrynosoma from the north in Baja California and southern California. Reproduction occurs through summer in the Cape Region whereas it ends earlier (July) in southern California.
