Abstract
Janet Poppendieck, Professor of Sociology at CUNY-Hunter, will give a talk entitled "Free for All: Fixing School Food in America" wherein she explores the deep politics of food provision from multiple perspectives--history, policy, nutrition, environmental sustainability, taste, and more as a part of the Food for Thought Lecture Series.
