Abstract
I will spend 2 months in Windhoek, Namibia researching the effects of private land use on native endemic bird and insect species. I will collect data to isolate high endemic regions and then interview private land owners in areas of high endemism. This will help us to promote more environmentally friendly land-use practices by land owners, and also to understand the current status of Namibian wildlife.
