Abstract
The 2001 National Environmental Career Conference in Oakland on October 19-20 enables students interested in beginning environmental careers to gather calculable knowledge and information on potential opportunities. The NECC Career Networking Day features more than forty-five organizations from environmental non-profits, environmental consulting and engineering firms, industry, manufacturing, federal, state and local government agencies, and graduate degree programs. Additionally, the fair serves as a general workshop on resume writing, interview techniques, and effective networking skills. The conference also offers a wide selection of educational opportunities that will help meet environmental career goals.
