Quality Control in Engineering DRIFT IIe Detectors, Pt 2
MetadataShow full item record
I will be presenting a talk on the results of the DRIFT IIe Project for this summer. To begin I will give an introduction on Ohm's Law and Charge Division as a main part of the whole dark matter detector that we were building. It is the way that we determine when and where the dark matter is supposed to have interacted with our detector. Then I will talk about the wire resistances that we measured from the detectors that we built and the analysis of those wires. I will then talk about why these results were good or bad (depending) and conclude from there.
