| dc.description.abstract | A recent specimen of Collisella edmitchelli from San Pedro, California (Mollusca: Acmaeidae) by David R. Lindberg. Bull. Southern California Acad. Sci., 83(3): 148-1 51, 1984. The first known Recent specimen of Collisella edmitchelli (Lipps, 1966) is reported. The Recent specimen suggests that some of the fossil specimens' characters are preservational. Fossil specimens also may be present on San Miguel Island. This species may have lived lower in the intertidal region than previously thought. | |
