    Abstract
Esperanza Community Housing Corporation is a non profit organization that works on building communities, specifically around the Hover/Adams area of central Los Angeles. They do this by providing the community with not only affordable housing but also health services and business opportunities. During my internship I became part of the organization. I worked on reducing the cost of maintaining the affordable housing buildings by starting up a non-profit property management company. By cutting down the cost of maintaining the buildings Esperanza is able to have some revenue for the maintenance of current projects and the starting of new ones.
