    Abstract
During the summer I worked on creating a linker molecule to connect DNA to an electrode. This linker will be used to create an internal standard for an electrode array. After we create the standard, we can check the level of transcription factor in a cell by checking the conductivity of the DNA with the electrode. We can compare our results with unhealthy cells for discrepancies in the quantity and location of transcription factor present. This idea could be used to diagnose diseases more accurately and efficiently.
